Release the video
Keep it moving

Short-form campaigns built around the whole release, not just the video.

  • More than the videoLive sets, studio sessions, interviews and catalog all become clips.
  • The song does the travellingEditors post their own content with your track as the audio.
  • Every clip checked before it’s paidOnly clips that follow your brief and your rights get paid.

Creative angles

Five ways
to clip a release.

A campaign picks the mix that fits the record, the artist and what has been cleared. Most releases use more than one.

  1. The sound, on anything

Editors post their own content with the track as the audio. The song travels further than the video does.

  2. The music video

Cuts of the official visual: the look, the hook, the one shot everyone screenshots.

  3. Everything around it

Studio sessions, interviews, behind the scenes and the artist’s existing social.

  4. Live

Concerts, tours and festival sets, cut for the fans who were there and the ones who were not.

  5. Catalog and nostalgia

Older videos and fan-favorite releases come back to the feed beside the new material.

Source material

More to work with
Than the video itself

  • Official music videos and visuals
  • Live performances and tour footage

The release arc

Before, during and
after release

  1. Before release

Tease the upcoming video, single or album with short-form moments that build anticipation.

  2. Launch

Distribute interpretations of the official video and performance footage across participating accounts.

  3. After release

Keep the release circulating with catalog material, live clips and artist moments long after release day.

Rights and clearance

The rights shape
What we can cut

Every campaign runs inside what the artist or label has actually cleared.

Rights checkWhat governs the cut
Audio
Campaigns use official audio, masters and approved mixes. Amplify does not distribute unofficial or unauthorized recordings.
Footage
The artist, label or rights-holder must own or be authorized to use the music video, performance and behind-the-scenes footage.
Sync and publishing
Where sync or publishing rights apply, the client confirms clearance before material enters the campaign.
Embargo
Unreleased singles, videos or albums follow embargo dates and defined usage rules before any clip goes live.
Platform rules
Short-form platforms have their own music and rights rules. Amplify works within those rules alongside the campaign guidelines.

Campaign fit

Is clipping right
for this release?

A good fit when

  • The release has strong visual, performance, lyrical or artist-personality moments.
  • Approved music video, performance, tour, studio, interview, social or catalog material is available.
  • The goal is broader awareness, release visibility, streams, conversation or catalog discovery.
  • The team is open to different creative interpretations of the material.
  • A clear campaign decision-maker can approve direction.

Music

Questions

What music content can be used?

Official music videos, live performances, tour footage, rehearsals, studio sessions, interviews, behind-the-scenes material, existing social content and catalog releases that the artist or label owns or is authorized to use.

Can Amplify work with unreleased music?

Yes, when the campaign is structured for it. The artist or label chooses exactly which unreleased material may enter the campaign, and only that approved material is provided to participating editors. Embargo dates and review requirements can be defined before distribution begins.

Does the artist approve every clip?

The artist or their team sets the approval standards. Amplify reviews submissions against the campaign rules and can route clips for approval before they go live.

Where are music clips posted?

On participating accounts across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other approved short-form platforms.

Does Amplify replace the artist’s social team?

No. Amplify is an additional distribution layer that works alongside the artist’s existing social presence and label team.
